Movie: Black Friday

Black Friday is an Indian movie about the 1993 Mumbai bombings, by director Anurag Kashyap Based on a book by S. Hussain Zaidi, this film tries to recreate those events and the intense feelings that followed them. Black Friday was not released in Indian theaters for 2 years, as on the eve of its release a petition was filed by the persons named in the film, the alleged perpetrators of the crime, seeking a stay. Their argument, which was upheld by the court, was that the film would bias public opinion against them and hence affect the outcome of the verdict which was still pending in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case. The film was received rapturously at previews in India and abroad. It got a United Kingdom release in 2006 and was released in India on February 9th, 2007.
The 1993 Bombay bombings were a series of thirteen bomb explosions that took place in Bombay, India on March 12, 1993. The coordinated attacks were the most destructive bomb explosions in Indian history. As per govt records, the single-day attacks resulted in over 250 civilian fatalities and 700 injuries. The attacks are believed to have been coordinated by Dawood Ibrahim, don of the organized crime syndicate named D-Company, which had operated as a terrorist organization. It is believed that the attacks were carried out in retaliation for the destruction of the historic Babri Mosque on December 6, 1992, which resulted in nationwide riots that led to the deaths of hundreds of people.
Movie is poignantly very hard-hitting. Whole unit and actors were capable of painting the scenes awfully perfect. Director & Producer waited all the time to get a go from Supreme Court. A very raw form of art. Dialogue are going to penetrate your mind and going to make you think. Movie pictured scene by scene and you could feel it, the hair-raising effort. I won't say a beautiful piece of art but I can't even snatch the whole team's effort for it. marvelous work and i would call it as a Bold Cinema and I would like to appreciate the unit.
Aftermath:
This will surely make you think that this created a big deepening distance between communities but best thing Law prevailed and Law made sure that no one will ever eye to heart of my Country ever...ever after! Love you Mumbai! Long live Mumbai!
Indeed everybody never let the chance of cashing the cleansing of Mumbai...finally Bombay became Mumbai!
Alas!
Anyways guys great work of art!
